I've a proposition to make.

I've considered the situatuon, and believe that a truce would be to our mutual benefit. I don't have personal quarrels with any of you, so I see no reason to continue fighting over a matter that we presently have no means to change.. [...Dist and Asch excluded. You're on notice, traitors.] All of our energy would be better spent searching for means to deal with the current situation. I would also like to remind you that I've been here for some length of time, and have not done harm to any of you, despite being assaulted more than once. [Asch.] Take it as a measure of my sincerity.

However, if you reject me now, I will not be offering again; and the next person among you to attack me [Asch.] will be dealt with severely and without mercy. I don't know what you could hope to accomplish with such actions, apart from uselessly antagonizing me. I am still entitled to defend myself.

My suggestion is to consider this offer carefully. I can be a valuable ally to you, or a dangerous enemy. The choice will be your own.

If a man wanted to find productive employment in this village, where might he begin looking? Pay is obviously impossible, but I'm willing to work for personal satisfaction and perhaps a favor or two later.

I have twelve years of service as a military officer, and a decade of experience in sword instruction. I've been told I'm also a fair cook, and a talented musician. I can play the piano; and the pipe organ, though I doubt this village has one available.

True... I'm probably a poor judge but... You know, it's probably just saving cats from trees, quieting noisy neighbors, looking for the occasional lost party who wandered into the forest. That sort of thing. Mercenaries don't only need to fight, right? But. Well, it's just an idea. I'm certainly not part of any of those groups, after all.

A reason why... Oh! Why I'm not part of those groups? It's a little hard to explain. But! To put it simply, I'm on vacation.

Of course, if any real trouble ever came up, I'd be more than willing to lend a helping hand, but for just the everyday sort of thing... Well, it's nice to just relax for a change.

Well, yes. There is that. But I don't mind the extra time. A little boredom never hurt. And I likely won't be able to complain about boredom for a long while after I'm sent home.

Oracle Knights, now that's quite the title. Certainly MUCH more creative.

But it sounds.... rather similar. I apologize, I'm probably being a bit vague. I asked because in Thedas... we might have something similar. Of course I... really don't know anything about your Oracle Knights. But. I was just. Curious. They're probably nothing alike, after all.

Not... particularly. It's just interesting to hear how different and yet really similar some worlds can be. But! I've side tracked us.

Anyways! If you don't think those sorts of organizations about here suit you. Why not make your own? That... could always work just as well. And you could do something else with it too. Since, all of the kittens in trees and lost items and people will already be taken care of by the other groups. Not too bad of an idea, right?

Not a bad idea at all. I wonder how much interest that would receive, though. I am still quite new here.

Certainly it would receive some interest, new or otherwise. You'd need to have a direct purpose and maybe offer joining of new members, but if you had those, I'm sure people would at least look into it.
