Well, I'll admit I'm rather new here and I ain't so sure what I can offer that ain't exactly commonplace.

Saw your offer, and it piqued interest. I've been working on blade work for a few years now, but I'll admit my pistol shooting's always come first, and I really am better with a gun.

But if there ain't no way out of this place, and there ain't much of anything worth shooting, then I might as well take the chance to improve something else.
